so a few weeks ago i went to go renew my old passport and as per the application ordeal i needed to take a new picture. i have been dreading this picture because it is in the same category as drivers license and school pictures. this category consists of ugly, unflattering, official pictures seen many countless strangers. the photographer never cares how you look and always takes it when you are not ready.
on this spring day i was have allergy problems. so naturally i needed to sneeze right before the photographer clicked the button. i asked if it looked ridiculous and she reassured me that it did not. i am not feeling so confident in her opinion, but we were on the next step in the passport process for me to ask for a retake. so in a few days my passport will come in the mail and i am confident my fears will be confirmed. this is how the Middle East will know me:
